~122-yrs since Alfred Nobel's challenge, to the world, to live w/o conflict. Look at the world now. Lebanon, Israel/Balfour Act, Russian aggression/war crimes and bigotry, gun violence, uprisings, mass shootings, poverty, ignorance for sale, and greed. And no one knows who's in charge because leaders acting like toddlers.

Irony is, it's toddlers GOP won't protect from weapons of mass kills. If it's about 2nd Amendment, then give everyone a musket and call it a day, else, it's about racism, control and Sons of confederate Vets-Strom Thurmond, AGAIN! Does our #DoD need to escorts kids to school AGAIN?

I mean, we seem to be at that stage again: 4 black girls bombed in Alabama didn't move kkk. Tennessee is also the birthplace of person EQUAL to Hitler: Nathan Bedford Forrest. Annually, OUR #military should travel to his grave and re-enact OUR side, on his grave. Just to remind, WHO'S HOUSE, OUR HOUSE?

DYK: Robert E. Lee and Jefferson Davis were in New York, USMA-West Point and stationed before the Civil War, right at Fort Hamilton just before Staten Island. What happened, 2 arrogant confederates wandered into SI, and an Italian father said, "WTF?!" That's how wars start! LOL OR looking at Forrest and Davis, who was caught in a dress, the 2 were lovers. That's also how fights/wars start! LOL "look, we weren't bothering u w/your slaves (American liberalism merges with capitalism), but now you wanna bring that slavery horror here?!" But, Sons of confederate Vets-Strom Thurmond GOP cannot stop their own customized flood gates. NRA sold fear for generations, accessorized w/guns, then told their customers, "you're the good guy." AND sold gun violence as a black problem. Metal detectors were/are for black schools, in their mind, they want total freedoms and safety for their kids, while ignoring plight of other kids in non-white areas and on reservations. Now, white babies being shot, in bulk, by angry persons FROM their own communities.

And NRA has already paid lawmakers, so lawmakers aren't doing anything about gun control. But parents see their own neighborhoods and churches being shot up, after creating zoning, to keep those told to fear out. Now, they're paying attention to GOP's messaging, while seeing lawmakers living w/o a care in world with 100% safety for the lawmakers' children. Same parents, fear was sold to, are scared w/o any power AND with their gun. **An expensive gun, and they cannot protect their own children, while their lawmakers tell them to stand down to protect the gun over their child.** Persons were sold weapons of mass kills for $300 to $1000.00/each, making NRA, gun lobbyists and gun manufacturers the new slave masters.

Now, is the time for the Union to tip toe back, and let GOP/neo-confederates/Jim Crow benefactors fight it out amongst themselves. We already had this conversation. And won, TWICE, at the expense of MANY MANY MANY LIVES!The Young, white male gun buyer or thief (Rottenhouse) in a rural area, has been told this is their land, and told that they're in charge, superior to others. So the YWM never noticed GOP sold off their jobs to overseas destinations for lawmakers' profits. The YWM also never noticed non-whites WORKING for them in subservient roles (supremacy), and ENDURING for the better of others (their children, next generation), ignorance (racism, tokenism, elitism) spoken to them and about them, including right in front of them, while the YWM stayed the SAME - proud and dumb AF. HMPH. Now, young, white males are mad and armed. Ask a Jim Crow benefactor, young, white male to humble himself, be subservient to others to benefit others, and let me know how that happens?

To keep racism biz going, money is needed by Jim Crow benefactors for ads, messaging, wars (for greed/domination over others). Drugs (crack, opiods, meth/fentanyl), guns and elitism (pay me to be around me) has been their cash cow.

Now, kids are not buying the racism OR elitism, as they see how others are living, and why, and WHO is consistently in charge, same person telling them whom to hate.

Children care, and do not know hate, unless taught. The adults in the room (politicians) are acting like toddlers OR frat boys with no parents around.

Anyone noticed that https://www.dol.gov/agencies/whd/minimum-wage/history/chart ↔ the federal minimum wage stopped increasing RIGHT AFTER the epic 2008 bailout of folks who squandered billions, at taxpayers and FDIC banks' expense?

Asking, for the "woke" folks.

In 1980s, I had my own apartment at 18, while making minimum wage. And so many of us were working before 18 to survive, and also working while in school. If our parents could afford college, our first apartment would have been a dorm room, and we still had to save or work for meals and books.

We were the latchkey kids who had to learn how to come home to/from school, alone, cook breakfast - on a stove, do homework, keep house clean, be home by x-time, and appreciate the things we had, because we saw how tired and defeated our parents were at times. Our parents didn't have many job options, while facing at-will termination at any given moment.

And many of us came home to abuse or silence, because of parents' unresolved issues, or the untimely death of a parent (overworked with no healthcare, war, and/OR injustices and other violence), or sheer exhaustion from being forced to work longer hours than others (mental health). All while putting up with on-the-job-racists, who sat around and complained about Affirmative Action.

And now, we just want to see kids SAFE, happy, happy with themselves, with respect for one another. But that's a problem, because that would require all to feel safe and compensated. 🤔 Is it too soon to bring up that bailed out, #TaxCutsAndJobsAct-benefactor Dan Grossman failed up from Venrock to Amazon, while Amazon workers are complaining about pay, working conditions, benefits and more?

Sh*t, life is hard, but shockingly easy for some, who complain, with lobbyists in tow, about wages, healthcare (for workers), earned benefits, and racial history, equality and civil rights.
