Unfortunately, if true and not part of the exact same propaganda distributed by Sons of confederate Vets, Robert E Lee fought for the side that chose slavery as the sole reason for Civil War. (I lowercase "confederates" for many reasons.) And I know many don't want to read much these days, it has to be dumbed-down to choose a side quickly, but that's also part of the "yea, confederates are great men" problem.
All other issues prior to Civil War had been resolved, confederates wouldn't budge on slavery and right to transport their slaves as property across state lines for "travel, rape and torture through bondage services". This isn't hidden information, but well documented in both confederate and non-confederate libraries and museums across the country, but chosen to be ignored and misrepresented (including by K-12 educators) at the offense of many.
Meanwhile, Sons of confederate Vets along w/ kkk, both of which today's GOP shaper, Strom Thurmond was a member of, are trying daily to rewrite history to glorify the losers and their losing cause (slavery), by rewriting their reason for creating Civil War. Their parroted-lie, "loyalty to the states," which is the equivalent of Germany rewriting its Nazi history and Holocaust as simply "loyalty to Germany," then erecting monuments to Hitler, Himmler, Goebbels and Hitler-loyal Nazi SS officers, who represent same exact values as Sons of confederate Vets and kkk (founded by another confederate General, Nathan Bedford Forrest).
Sons of confederate Vets' Strom Thurmond also co-wrote Southern Manifesto (also available in libraries across the country), an outline for racism and discrimination, with Carl Vinson. US Navy chose to honor Vinson with a ship naming (USS Carl Vinson/CVN70). Carl Vinson never served a day in military, but was behind many policies promoting hate and domestic terrorism against non-whites, Jews and women in military.
US is one of the few countries which honors its domestic terrorists, persons who were scheduled to be kicked out of our country, because Lincoln saw their evil hearts personally and knew they couldn't evolve, and would continue to perpetuate racist policies eternally. And Lincoln was right, as immediately after his assassination (funded by confederate Jefferson Davis and carried out by confederates), confederate sympathizer Andrew Johnson (one of worst Presidents in history) reversed all that Union soldiers fought and died for, which gave rise to Nathan Bedford Forrest's kkk, and led to terrorism such as:
- Jim Crow and Jim Crow laws with violence even against whites who refused to hate non-whites and Jews;
- Rosewood, Florida massacre;
- Native Indian massacres and land thefts;

- Slocum, Texas massacre;
- 1963 Birmingham, Alabama church bombing;

Shockingly law enforcement and military members participated in domestic terrorism, including against Jews, who were denied military rights and equal treatment. Twisted irony: when someone fights back against confederates and confederate sympathizer's legacy of hatred, violence and inequality, they're the ones called "un-American", "savages", "a drain on society", by confederate sympathizers and those whose family migrated here during Jim Crow, for the whites only-Jim Crow policies and benefits.
Germany chose to honor Claus Von Stauffenberg and members of Operation Valkyrie, who fought against Hitler - persons who were originally wrongly labeled and ostracized by Hitler loyalists immediately after WWII. Germany later, and wisely, chose to outlaw all Nazi propaganda and Nazi loyalists. the end result: progress for its country, instead of a version of the US's 150+ years after Civil War, still dealing with the same racial nonsense, while denying accurate historical teachings. Ignorance has stalled our country 24/7, and leads to boiling points of violence every single decade.

We are native Richmonders and also the great, great grandsons of Stonewall Jackson. As two of the closest living relatives to Stonewall, we are writing today to ask for the removal of his statue, as well as the removal of all Confederate statues from Monument Avenue. They are overt symbols of racism and white supremacy, and the time is long overdue for them to depart from public display. Overnight, Baltimore has seen fit to take this action. Richmond should, too.

Same parents, fear was sold to, are scared w/o any power AND with their gun. **An expensive gun, and they cannot protect their own children, while their lawmakers tell them to stand down to protect the gun over their child.** Persons were sold weapons of mass kills for $300 to $1000.00/each, making NRA, gun lobbyists and gun manufacturers the new slave masters.
Now, is the time for the Union to tip toe back, and let GOP/neo-confederates/Jim Crow benefactors fight it out amongst themselves. We already had this conversation. And won, TWICE, at the expense of MANY MANY MANY LIVES!The Young, white male gun buyer or thief (Rottenhouse) in a rural area, has been told this is their land, and told that they're in charge, superior to others. Thanks for your comment. Yes, addictions can, and do, lead to suicide attempts. However, unresolved trauma is one of the most common causes of suicide – bullying, child abuse and/or rape, violence against others witnessed, extreme poverty, human trafficking and general public safety neglect. It's the unresolved traumas that civic leaders need to focus on, especially for today's children witnessing crime after crime against their fellow students - either in class or at home with family or non-family. Because if it's not suicide, it's murder at the hands of apathetic persons.
I was just reading about Larry Price Jr.: https://popular.info/p/the-untimely-death-of-larry-price. Mr. Price's death was not suicide. Mr. Price was a person who suffered from mental illness, because of a traumatic childhood incident, that caused his mind to split, and left him in chaos, without one adult to help him get counseling needed. Each day Mr. Price lived, cried out, but no one cared to hear him. Even when held in prison without bail, Mr. Price cried out for help, but was ignored.
We need to change the culture of civic leaders, to recognize when those are in need, get the help needed, and call and vote out those leaders who fail to help. We also need to hold leaders accountable when toxic persons are hired, persons who ignore or toy with basic well-being of others, while calling themselves "pro-life," a "hero," or "community leader." Else, we are failing an entire generation, which is running out of options as equal jobs, housing and education are all becoming unattainable goals, leading to more and more suffering of others.

The swatting is over. 🤗 👏🏾 👏🏾 👏🏾 Emails generated via the swatter are now auto-forwarded to a private and state law enforcement agency. The email address that the swatter is obsessed with is now retired, no longer being used, and the account is an evidence container for law enforcement to access as needed. As in the only person that will be reading the swatter's email generated nonsense is not me. 💯 And per "counsel" of 3-1-1's supervisors, a 9-1-1 call was made, to report the swatting, forgery of a 3-1-1 report (using someone's name with my family numbers and my mobile number to submit a fake report), and abuse of hospital and medical services. NYPD responded, but was not interested in taking any report, while ignoring countless email source files, medical law enforcement contacts and messages from IT staff of hospital services regarding server logs, IP info and device fingerprint data. NYPD suggested other non-law enforcement solutions, as in NYPD will not be getting involved to investigate the swatting.
So now, moving forward, if the swatter attempts to send ANY city official to ANY home or business on their swatting behalf, there will be lots of accountability questions, while, "cha-ching! Thank you for the valuable swatting evidence!" Because NYPD could not take a report regarding the swatting to investigate its source with massive amounts of digital/device fingerprint information, BUT NYPD will respond on behalf of the swatter? Make it make sense. 🤔 Thus, why the City of New York can no longer respond to the swatter's nonsense.

It is legal to swat someone via NYC's 3-1-1 system. Let that sink in. It's not a crime, merely a violation, IF CAUGHT, while no one even looks for the person behind the swatting. No law enforcement will get involved in the false reporting of crimes or incidents via 3-1-1, because of the law: not a crime via 311 app, website and phone. There is ZERO tracking of the source of the call, or app OR website use. A person from overseas can download the NYC gov 311 app and exploit the city, costing taxpayers millions! If a person called 9-1-1 to falsely report a crime, then it's a crime.
Eric Adams' grime-crime crew exposed the swatting flaw THREE YEARS AGO, and it's still not fixed. The 3-1-1 system was/is used to commit fraud and witness intimidation.
And because we no longer have an FBI to report terrorism to (how terrorism actually stops), city resources via 3-1-1 can now be used to aid and abet organized crime.
Imagine drug OR human trafficking messages sent via 3-1-1 — person reports a FALSE problem at an address, which triggers an official response to the false flag address, like a signal to proceed with a crime at another actual address? THIS, legal swatting to further criminal activity, is happening now at the expense of taxpayers!!!

For STAN's unlawful medical account creation at another healthcare company, unauthorized on behalf of someone else (a crime), STAN falsified someone's address info: "Jefferson County," which is not the county for "Brooklyn, New York." STAN has now escalated to reporting our address as an "unlicensed cannabis shop" selling to minors.
Oh the irony, given past and current organized crime history of our neighborhood!
But peep this! Yesterday, two NYPD officers showed up to our home. Very nice, but they were either duped or forced to "take the job." They claimed they were responding to a noise complaint. However, we contacted 311 NYC Gov and were advised there were no open noise complaints. The representative then advised how I could view all recent and active service requests for our area. WOW. Talk about shocking. I cannot post what I saw, but forwarded the info to related agencies after making quick screen captures.
What is most shocking: while the whole world is stressed over an escalating war, and nationally people are worried for their family's safety and security given rising costs and defunded taxpayer-funded services, STAN's priority is me. STAN wakes up and thinks about me, or "Tamra Burgess," and before STAN goes to bed, if STAN sleeps at all, STAN's last thought is me, or "Tamra Burgess." STAN will continue swatting until they die of old age, or from neglecting their health because of their obsessive, compulsive behavior. For over a week, STAN filed over 100 complaints, 67+ against a neighbor over a contentious land theft, and 9 against us in a matter of hours from 5pm until 7pm EDT, with five complaints for drug trafficking. Another "self-deputizing" and 💩-stirring neighbor is in the middle of it all with their own complaints listed. Meanwhile, the fire hydrant at the front our block has now been turned into a parking space, with zero concern for fire safety, as this becomes our neighborhood. I wonder which neighbor will throw a garbage can at the Italian restaurant also in the conflict-mix? 😂
I used to feel sorry for STAN, but now I don't. Whatever happens to them at this point is their own fault. They have had more than enough time, three years, to correct their actions but have chosen to escalate them. NYPD and feds raid homes of high-ranking NYPD chiefs in bribery probe
The NYPD and the FBI executed search warrants at the homes of several former and current high-ranking NYPD officers early Wednesday as part of an ongoing bribery probe, the Daily News has learned.
Former NYPD Chief of Department Jeffrey Maddrey and former NYPD Deputy Commissioner Tarik Sheppard were among those visited by a joint FBI and NYPD Internal Affairs Bureau task force.
Investigators also hit the home of NYPD Assistant Chief Jimmy McCarthy, the head of Patrol Borough Manhattan South.
The NYPD said Wednesday McCarthy has been stripped of his gun and shield and transferred as the probe continues. Assistant Chief Melissa Eger, the head of Patrol Borough Staten Island, was transferred to Manhattan to replace McCarthy.
The bribery allegations could be tied to promotions in the department, a source with knowledge of the case said. The Manhattan U.S. Attorney's Office, which is heading the probe, declined to comment.
NYPD Commissioner Jessica Tisch said the search warrants were part of a probe that “is ongoing and concerns conduct by former and current members of the NYPD.”
Sheppard was part of a close group of Adams' advisors within the department who were empowered by the mayor to go on a social media blitz against district attorneys, judges, and media outlets they disagreed with.
